Rediscovering Zen

Today I found water. Lake Biwa outside of Kyoto. After 7 weeks on dry land I found my way to a blue paddleboard and made my way out to the middle of the lake, surrounded by tree covered mountains. I was free once again for a small window.

Feeling like a native Austinite for just a moment in the middle of Japan. I found my place of peace again. My sanctuary on the water.
